ok so i've been putting off reviewing this bc how do u even put it into words. every song is perfect. such great heights makes me feel like i'm floating through space and nothing matters but in a good way??? ben gibbard's voice over those bleepy synths is a religious experience. crying to this in my room is a core memory.

everyone kept telling me to listen to this and they were RIGHT. rebellion (lies) literally changed my brain chemistry. it's overwhelming at first bc there's so much going on but give it 3 listens and it clicks. neighbourhood #1 (tunnels) is haunting me specifically.

this is a perfect album to feel cool to. take me out is so danceable it's almost illegal. darts of pleasure and auf achse are severely underrated. i've been doing my homework to this nonstop. it goes hard while also being super smart which is rare.
